Staying on Track with Your Referral
When care is referred off base through TRICARE or TriWest, the process can take a little time—and you may not immediately see where your referral is directed. The best way to stay informed is by keeping an eye on your patient portal for updates and authorization details.
At Empower Physical Therapy, we’re experienced in working within this system, and things move most efficiently when referrals and authorizations are visible and accessible. If you see your referral come through, we encourage you to reach out to one of our clinics directly—we’re often able to help you move forward and get scheduled more quickly. Call: (907) 373-9462
If your referral is sent to a different clinic but you’d prefer to be seen at Empower, you have the option to request a redirect. TRICARE patients can contact TriWest directly to have their referral updated to the facility of their choosing.
