He grew up on hard work, spending his summers working on his Grandfather’s ranch, and after graduating high school spent 24 months serving the people of El Salvador full-time with his church. Wes attended Idaho State University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, with a minor in Spanish. He continued his education by becoming a certified personal trainer and furthering his knowledge on sport science. He graduated with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Texas Women’s University in Houston, located in the largest medical center in the world. Wes enjoyed his experience in Texas at Ironman Sport Clinics and his time in the University of Houston training room. He is a certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS) with the American Strength and Conditioning Association, and works to provide his patients and athletes with the most cutting-edge interventions.
Wes believes wellness is a lifestyle and strives to empower his patients and athletes with a platform that provides long-term and tangible results. In his free time, Wes continues to remain active in sports and the outdoors including camping, hiking, and skiing. He enjoys spending time with his wife Jessie, and children- Charlotte, Rosie, and Jonas, and are continually looking for new places to explore in the great state of Alaska.
