What is your background and experience in this industry?
My exposure to physical therapy came from my wife’s time in PT school. I was doing marketing in the outdoor industry previously, but change was calling and I’m so happy I ended up at Empower.
What do you enjoy most about your role?
Meeting everyone in our community is my favorite part. I get to hear so many perspectives from the unique, motivated, & kind individuals that make Alaska so great.
What brought you to Alaska/ back to Alaska after moving/ kept you here?
I started visiting family in Alaska when I was 3 years old, coming up every summer thereafter to visit family and adventure. When I graduated college, I moved north. Since then, I’ve moved back and forth between Alaska and the lower 48 a couple times missing Alaska the second I left. I’m happy to say this move was the last one and I’m back north.
What are your passions outside of work?
Anything and everything outdoors is my favorite. When I’m not at work you can find me outside with my wife and dogs. I’m hopelessly addicted to the backcountry whether that’s hunting, fishing, packrafting, backpacking, or skiing.
