What do you enjoy most about your role? I love getting to chat with our new patients. Working mostly from home, I don’t get to see our patients often, but just the few minutes chatting, getting to know them and getting them excited for their PT journey is so rewarding.
What brought you to Alaska/ back to Alaska after moving/ kept you here? Once Alaska is in your blood, it is there forever!! My Dad lived here while I was growing up so I spent summers up here. My grandparents, aunts/uncles and cousins were all here as well. I lived here for a few years (many moons ago) but ultimately went “home” to Nebraska. After meeting my husband and starting our little family, we knew we wanted something more for our boys, and we knew Alaska was the perfect place to put down some roots.
Family overview: Married to Tim, just celebrated our 12th anniversary, 2 boys- Jaxon is 8 and Jaymeson is 6, and 2 pups – 3 yr old German Shorthaired Pointer named Huck and 9 month old German Wirehaired Pointer named Piper
What are your passions outside of work? I love going camping, fishing, sightseeing (all of the Alaska things minus the extreme hiking that my coworkers love to do!) but most of all I love spending time with my family. Born and raised in Nebraska so of course I am a Husker fan… Go Big Red!
