What inspired you to be a PT? I love that PT empowers patients to heal themselves
Where did you go to PT school? University of Montana
What is your background and experience in this industry? 7 years of experience working in outpatient rehabilitation. I have worked with a mixed population including orthopedic, neurological, pediatrics, geriatrics, and have specialized training in oncology rehab, pelvic health, and lymphedema. I have additional training in the McKenzie Method of treatment of low back, thoracic, and neck pain. As well as have developed and treated return to sport protocol for young athletes.
What do you enjoy most about your role? I love getting to know the people I get to help and see them improve their own circumstances
What brought you to Alaska and kept you here? I’ve always wanted to visit Alaska and in 2023 my family and I decided to just jump in headfirst and try travel PT up here, we love Alaska so much we may never leave
