Emma Halsey , PTA
Emma Halsey is a fourth-generation Alaskan, born and raised in Anchorage. Emma grew up figure skating in her back yard, doing gymnastics, and cheerleading. She graduated as Valedictorian from Heritage Christian School then received her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. Emma enjoys volunteering with children. She is a youth leader at her church, was the Event Coordinator for the Heart Gallery of Alaska to advocate for the adoption of children in foster care, and former Program Coordinator for Boys & Girls Club of Alaska. She is trained in suicide prevention. Her involvement in pageantry has led her on many travels and volunteer opportunities including serving for the Salvation Army McKinnell House and Downtown Soup Kitchen. Emma was Fur Rondy Princess 2016 and Miss Alaska United States 2012. Emma has always enjoyed being active and decided to pursue a career as a Physical Therapist Assistant to help others return to an active lifestyle they enjoy. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Physical Therapist Assistant Program at the University of Alaska Anchorage in 2017. In her free time, you can find Emma mountain biking, hiking, fishing, and cross-country skiing in our beautiful state. Emma joined the Empower in January 2019, and has been the perfect addition to our Anchorage team of specialists.
