Cynthia Parks , PT, DPT
Cindy Parks joined the Empower PT team in October of 2019. She has a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Minnesota.
After graduating she completed multiple assignments as a traveling therapist finally ending up in Alaska.
Cindy Parks has enjoyed working for several Alaska companies as a permanent employee and gaining experience in a variety of settings in her decade-plus career. She enjoys treating a variety of conditions from general orthopedic injuries to more interesting vestibular and pelvic disorders. She has experience treating pelvic floor, urinary incontinence, and fecal conditions from pelvic pain to fecal incontinence. She enjoys working with all ages, without bias on gender, and getting to know what is important in each person’s life.
Cindy has completed advanced course work through the APTA Pelvic Health section, treating adults throughout the spectrum.
Cindy enjoys learning new and interesting things about the human body and its function. She always has a smile on her face and genuinely loves her job. She is happy to be a member of the Empower family settling in and making trouble. In her spare time, she and her family enjoy spending time together appreciating all that Alaska has to offer.
